This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways:
I will use projects and strategies that are to benefit the overall classroom community.
Projects are to benefit the students in a positive manner because it uses the previous background of each individual student and applies it to new concepts.
The bridge has to be created and maintained by the educator on one side the students previous knowledge is bridged with new information and concepts on a certain topic.
This method will work with my student population because a large majority of them have come into the classroom with a varied set of experiences.
These experiences if I allow for a student centered environment will immerse with experiences from another student and even mine as the instructor.
